Perplexing Event of the Week.

From Arlington Music Scene:

"On Wednesday, December 1, Jon Kaplan of Bicycle Thieves, Exit Clov, and I will be playing a tribute to Dave Grohl,as part of the WAMA/Strathmore Timeline series at Strathmore Hall in Bethesda."

Oh my God! I didn't even know Dave Grohl was sick!

Yes, yes, the "Tribute To Dave Grohl" makes it look like he's dead. I should have been more specific and mentioned that it's a tribute to the music of Dave Grohl. Last I heard, he is alive and well; People don't have to be dead for us to pay tribute to them or their work. But my unintentional lack of detail has paid off and gotten the show this nice press from you, DCeiver. Thank you. If this event sells out well in advance, you may be one of the people we'll have to thank, in which case I'll pay tribute to you and all your hardwork in the blogosphere.

So does this imply that Dave Grohl's music is dead? Harsh.

As for selling out... you could argue that a Dave Grohl tribute "sold out" a long time ago.

(Ha ha... we kid because we love...)
