The Top Forty Bands In America--If we had been able to include Canada.

Then:

  • The New Pornographers
  • Arcade Fire, and quite possibly
  • Stars

...would have been on the list.

And I'd be saying something like: "Wolf Parade? All that work, for so little results."

I'm very happy that The National and Stevens got on the list--it's the #1 and #2 that seems at odds with reality. Love to see them actually attain that height in the public consciousness, but they aren't there yet.

Stop pretending you know anything about music and give us what we came here for ... LOST RECAP! C'mon, there was even an extra FOUR minutes last nite.

It's been five weeks since I've seen Kate and I think I'm going go all Mr. Echo on The Others on someone.

Death From Above 1979. Seriously. They rock until you cry, then they turn up their amps.

Wait a minute... Martha made the list, but somehow you can't even include Rufus when you're letting Canadians in...?
