DCeptette: I'm afraid of people who like 'Catcher In The Rye' version.

  1. Leafblower's pre-emptively tagged the Siren Festival with the big meh (how quickly we sour on Art Brut, I guess), but we're actually quite wishing we could go (will be knee-deep in show at the H Street Playhouse instead) because look who's playing! Only the finest band working today! Sigh. [Information Leafblower]
  2. Not to be a dick, but this unrest at Gallaudet could potentially last forever. Why give into demands when the most your opposition can do is send some particularly nasty vibrations through the floorboards at you? [Examiner]
  3. A pretty fitting award recipient, indeed. (And, btw, the old Toledo Lounge pen is out again.) [Rock Creek Rambler]
  4. The magical tango of tops and bottoms continues. [Craigslist]
  5. The Smithsonian has a salary cap? Damn. We were looking forward to Kriston's end zone routines. This is his contract year, right? [Washington Post]

I haven't seen a Too Much Joy reference in years.
