Finally it's coming out! Now I have to go pick up the comics and read em before Nov. 9th.
Word. I'm in the same boat.
whoa. worst cast ever + "strange days" + "a scanner darkly" = movie that I want to see badly, somehow.
Is this going to be a terrible movie or a brilliant movie? Either way, I'm lining up for it. Thrilled to see, for once, a trailer that doesn't make me feel like I've already seen the movie. I can't even tell if it's a comedy or drama.
Oooo it hs so much potential! As much as you might hate the cast, Tom, the way the graphic novel is written, I actually can't see anyone else in the roles. Dwayne Johnson is Boxer Santaros personified. I wish the casting agents had taken even more pages from Sunset Blvd. and cast Jenna Jamison as Krysta Now. I worry Sarah Michelle Geller's breasts aren't up for the job.
At first I thought this was a trailer for The Rundown: Part Deux! But after seeing the entire trailer it looks like a present-day, terrestrial version of The Fifth Element. Now if only the hype could reach Snakes-on-a-Plane-like levels ...
